Saskatoon Reggae
and World Music Festival:

The Saskatoon Reggae and World Music Festival, once the Saskatoon Reggae Festival, is a fun filled family 3 day event, aimed at showcasing local, national and international artists and performers, celebrating our cultural diversity here in Saskatchewan. Although the name is changed in order to celebrate this diversity of cultures not just in Saskatchewan but from the Caribbean, make no mistake our focus is still on reggae performers.
Now
in its fifth year and still growing, the festival is once again getting ready for its summer activities.
Past performers included Jason Wilson and Tabarruk, Mickey Dangerous, Culture Brown, Daddy Roy, Natural Mistik, Paul Benjamin, Joseph Ashong, Coffieman, Oral Fuentes,
Orlando Martinez, defSol, Dj
Juan Valdez, Dj Mike, La Carisma, Kahmaria, Sephoria, Grupo Maya, Ritmo
Latino, and Grupo Caracol. The Festival aims to celebrates the
diversity of Caribbean and World music with a preference to reggae.
This years 2010 Reggaefest, which will be held on
August 12--August 14 , will once again bring a celebration of Arts and Culture to Saskatoon with
affordable entertainment for all ages, exciting music, food, dance and
workshops.
